Quite rightly, The Labyrinth has earned it’s place among cult classics. It has that flare of fantasy to it that sucks the audience in immediately, an innocent and lively humour, and a fiercely quotable script. However, I strongly believe that it’s soundtrack is grotesquely underrated. The songs, most of which are recorded by David Bowie, supplement the story immensely, and help to outline the emotional transitions throughout the film. Here you will find the lyrics to every song included in The Labyrinth, and a short analysis of what each of them brings to the film.  Sadly, you will not figure out here what the power of voodoo is, especially in regards to a babe.

Well….laugh!
